A Christmas book review was originally posted on my Fresno Books Examiner page, however, they have decided to close and have released my articles.
Belle was nicknamed Jingle Belle because she was the best writer of jingles for her company. For this she was requested for Nick Santini’s Tuscan-themed restaurant opening to write the jingle to help advertise the event. Nick disapproved of Belle at first and they had some run-ins with each other along the way, but both tried to make it work to meet the deadline to open before Christmas.
Belle’s boss Cam is longtime friends with Nick, the owner of the restaurant that Belle is writing the Jingle for the opening. Cam encourages Belle to write the jingle for Nick even though Nick continues to push back. By another twist of fate, Belle has grown close to Nick's brother Alex and his wife who are expecting a baby of their own soon. It is a great family story that many of us long for and it is exciting to read about the characters and see where the story unfolds.
Sparks flew as the lights went up around the holiday and the restaurant was prepped for its opening. Belle worked hard to write the perfect jingle, but Nick didn’t seem pleased. Will Nick and Belle come to an agreement in time to get the restaurant open before Christmas? With all of this, could Nick only say out of obligation “Merry Christmas, bella. Welcome to Santini’s.”
